Get McCartney is the project of Michael McCartney, a drummer, engineer, producer, arranger and songwriter. This potent combination has come after a lifelong pursuit of music. Over this time he’s collected skill, gear, insights, workflows and most importantly, refined an approach and philosophy that centres around both tradition and innovation.

McCartney has been a sought after drummer for live and studio applications. He’s played for some of Australia’s best, including Hollow Coves, Wolfmother and James Johnston. He’s also worked as a drummer under some of Australia’s most notable producers like Konstantin Kersting, Nick DiDia & Oscar Dawson.
